About the event

A light-hearted on-line workshop for XR ACT members.  Come along and play with notions of community, creativity and surprise. Explore your body-wisdom with others in the Time of the Lockdown.  No experience required.

We are delighted that this workshop will be lead by Biff Ward, an active member of the XR ACT Training Working Group and experienced in using play and fun to help build community and allow for new types of collaboration.  Biff is a highly experienced communications educator, political activist and author.

Extinction Rebellion (XR) is a do-it-together movement. All our design and artwork can be used non-commercially for the purpose of planet saving. This does not mean creating merchandise for fundraising or sending XR a percentage of your sales. We do not endorse or create any merchandise and we will pursue and prosecute anyone who does. The Extinction Symbol was designed in 2011 by street artist ESP, who loans XR usage on the same basis:

Extinction Rebellion ACT acknowledges the traditional custodians of the land on which Canberra is situated, the Ngunnawal and Ngambri people. We wish to recognise and respect their continuing connection to the land and water, and the contribution they make to the life of this city and this region. Their sovereignty was never ceded. We pay our respects to their Elders past, present and emerging. We would also like to acknowledge other Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people who may visit this area.
