About the event

Discobedience Dance Squad dress rehearsal

Saturday 18 July 1-4pm Turner (address provided on registration)

Bring your selves, your glam outfits - and your coolest Stayin Alive dance moves.

This  is where the rubber starts to hit the road, with the big speakers, the  singers, the dancers and the moves.  It'll be hard work, so to minimise  that, PRACTICE THE MOVES DURING THIS WEEK!!

Newcomers welcome.   We are learning the steps to the wonderful Bees Gees’ hit, ‘Stayin Alive’ and plan to take to the streets in late July and early August.  You don’t need to be especially fit nor a trained dancer. As long as you have reasonable flexibility, and enjoy movement, and would be willing to give some time at protests, you'll be just fine.

So if you’re keen and ready to boog-ay, RSVP and we’ll send you the full details of the workshop. RSVPs are essential.

Extinction Rebellion ACT acknowledges the traditional custodians of the land on which Canberra is situated, the Ngunnawal and Ngambri people. We wish to recognise and respect their continuing connection to the land and water, and the contribution they make to the life of this city and this region. Their sovereignty was never ceded. We pay our respects to their Elders past, present and emerging. We would also like to acknowledge other Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people who may visit this area.
